$10 Million Campaign Reaches 21% Milestone

TRA’s global campaign has raised $2.1 million toward its $10 million goal. The funds are being deployed across our 48 active projects in 25+ countries. We are grateful to our growing community of supporters who share our vision of accessible mikvaot for every Jewish community.

TRA Launches New Website

We are proud to launch tra.ngo — our new home on the web. The site features our complete project portfolio, educational resources about mikvah, and easy ways to donate and get involved. The unique Talmud-page design reflects our commitment to Torah values and the timeless nature of our mission.

2025

7 Projects Reach Completion

Seven mikvah projects across Europe and Asia reached completion in 2025, including facilities in Istanbul (Turkey), Dresden (Germany), and Bellingham (Washington). Each of these mikvaot now serves communities that previously had no local access to sacred waters.

2024

FY2024: Record Program Spending

TRA invested $2.22 million in direct program activity during fiscal year 2024, achieving a program expense ratio of 96.97% — meaning nearly every dollar donated went directly to building mikvaot and supporting Jewish communities. Total revenue reached $2.14 million.

2024

Expansion into Africa and Oceania

TRA expanded operations to two new continents with projects in Abuja (Nigeria) and New Caledonia, bringing our geographic reach to six continents. The Abuja project serves 115 Jewish families who previously had to travel internationally for mikvah access.

2019

Mission Expanded to Include Mikvah Construction

TRA filed a Certificate of Amendment with the New York Department of State, formally expanding its mission to include the construction of mikvahs. This pivotal change set the stage for what has become TRA’s primary focus and greatest impact area.
